[ROUND 14 PREVIEW] No way back for AFC Tubize

2016-11-03 21:45

AFC Tubize will take on Cercle Brugge at home on Nov 6th at 04:00 PM(LT).

It will be the final matchday of the first half of Proximus League B play. The winner of the first half will advance to the promotion play-offs at the end of the season. AFC Tubize however, sit 6th in the league table only 2 points ahead of last place Cercle Brugge. Depending on the result, AFC Tubize could possibly achieve 4th or slip down to last place.

Cercle Brugge have been playing poor as of late, only managing to win once in October. Their only win was against Lommel United, currently 7th in the league. Away from home, they haven’t won this season with 6 losses and 1 draw. They’ve scored the least amount of goals in the league and struggle to finish their chances. Their defense constantly shows weakness on aerial balls played towards them.

Emeric Dudouit will be available following his suspension as AFC Tubize look to win all three points before the second half of the season gets on the way. Its vital for them to win to be able to make a push for the end of the season.
